CULCAIRN
In 2025, APIP mobilised crew, specialist equipment and machinery across the boarder to Culcairn, NSW. The works involved the construction of a 466MVA 330kV Substation including; civil and foundations works, trenching and cable install, earthing and lightning protection, erection and installation of substation high voltage plant, landing and installation of the HV Switchroom.
In our most significant and longest project in NSW yet, APIP crews consisting of trades assistants, plant operators, civil workers, specialist substation electricians and support staff all worked hard in sometimes very hot and cold conditions to deliver the project safely to our clients.
